I made a costly mistake and had to own up to it today. I expected to be in quite a bit of trouble for it.
I’ve already written here about how my 17 year old daughter was due to visit us in a little less than two weeks for her whole summer holiday, eight weeks in total.
This morning at 5:45 am she messaged me to call her immediately and I learned that she’d injured herself a few hours earlier in the annual high school Powder Puff football game, having to be taken by ambulance to the emergency room with a likely torn ACL and meniscus. She will need surgery in the next few days. This will be confirmed tomorrow when she meets with the Orthopedic Surgeon to discuss the results of her MRI and other tests.
Amen!
This story is well and truly touching in ways that I cannot even begin to describe. For all the ‘scary’ aspects of our subculture this right here is the true heart of what BDSM is all about.
